And How Did This Collection Come Into Existence?

One evening while out to dinner my husband and I discussed what business would have the most appeal, something we could share. Together we decided, since we collected art, an art gallery would be just the right business, a dream come true for me…. He sat there and on a piece of paper draw a plan. He would add to his medical building another section and call it Suite A, while he would be in Suite B. A man of action, later that week he took the design to an architect who drew plans…. And within a very few months there stood my beautiful art gallery… a lovely Spanish structural designed gold building.

The gallery opened with 20 artists, a gala celebration, with the Mayor there, a ribbon cutting, and members of the Chamber of Commerce. The local newspaper sent a reporter and an article appeared on the front page of the newspaper. We were launched.

A time of absorbing years of building up the gallery with my good husband’s intense interest and full support, starting with 20, then it grew to 71. Then 91. Then hundreds. The expanding community with its beautiful homes and art lovers demanded finer and finer art.

Knowing that fine art is usually not acquired by accident, we hosted many champagne receptions and special exhibitions of paintings. These artists created beautiful things. My thought is that artists are gifted people. They are like poets, with creativity, of course, but more than that---perception and discernment. I have noticed that these lovers of beauty love people. I am sure that they could look deeply into each of you and perceive your qualities that make up your personality. With a brush, seeing your true nature, they would bathe you in beauty, making you gasp, “Is that me?”

That’s fine art.

Art lifts up our hearts. My job is to offer counsel, guide and pave the way for art lovers to acquire a piece of fine art for pleasure or business. (Rarely does this happen by accident.)

Years of Experience:

Years of experience in the world of fine art… When I was a little girl, I was taught to love the beautiful earth--the mountains, the seas and the valleys. My family talked of ideas, of music and art. But it was always evident that the greatest creation under heaven was people. Little did I know as I talked to my dear grandmother about the beauty of art that a dream would come true for me in the field of art. The years of experience are from real life, not a book. This is experience that assists us to fine just the right painting for everyone, and is an art. It is caring about people and their feelings, their desires

Another highlight was having art receptions for artists and then donating some of the proceeds to the abused and abandoned children of Orange County. Later a beautiful home was built for these dear children.

Keynote speaker at many civic organizations, such as at the Chambers of Commerce, Rotary, Kiwanis, Elks, Professional Business Women, etc.
